Waterproof tape

Dogs pool has split. At the join between the side and the bottom.
is there a tape that is strong enough and waterproof that will fix it (about 2in rip).
There seems to be everything out there now, so why not tape that actually works.

Pond liner repair patch may do the job, normally a rubber patch with silicone to hold it all together.

Also heard of this stuff, never used it though, thier other stuff is normally good.

May be worth adding a Duck, Duct, Gaffer.. tape on the outside for added strength, good luck

I’ve got some of that from that make and other makes in all the colours of the rainbow
Thats the problem with toolstaion/screwfix/Aldi . I see something and think, I haven’t got that colour

I used Gorilla tape on a plastic bucket that had an about 10cm crack and it worked well. The bucket held water with no leaks and I only had to get rid of it when the handle broke.

It is VERY, VERY, sticky and my first attempt at the repair was useless as I managed to stick the tape to itself, but that might well be me being cackhanded.
