Just wondering what software and how people watermark their images. I just want to add a little bit of text at the bottom of each photo but the controls in lightroom to do this seem rather limited - I can't alter placement or size.

Just wondering how others did this? I need a quick and easy method that I can just run a batch of images through. Currently I use lightroom and photoshop cs3.

photoshop you'll need your own action, I just let LR do the default, not bothered about it much (at the moment)

Just create a new document in Photoshop with your watermark ready made. When you are working on your images have the file open & click & drag the watermark over, position & that's it.

In photoshop how could I create an action that would always put the text in the same position of the image (bottom right)? I'm unsure as to how to get the consistent positioning. This is for a batch process, I won't be going in to manually do every one.

Thanks for that Geordi69. I was hoping to find something that was either free or use the current software tools that I have.

The lightroom watermarking is fine if I export the photos at about 800x600, like these photos here, but if I do them larger, say 2500x1800 then the watermark is far too small. It would be nice if lightroom could up the font size of the watermark if the output resolution was higher such that it always occupies a set percentage of the frame. That's pretty much my requirements, along with being able to batch process, pretty simple!
