hi i was just wondering if anyone knows a program that will batch watermark a photo with the filename

iv been looking everywhere but cant find what im lookign for!

there seems to be a problem with the website,

is there a turtorial on how to do this using photoshop?

ive tried quite a few s/w , i need to batch a lot for a website i maintain and the easiest s/w to do it is picture shark.

I wrote some simple software to do this kinda thing a while back. For automating the process really. Take a look here: http://davehope.co.uk/projects/image-watermark-tool/ (It's free)

Make your watermark in paint/gimp or whatever and save that. You use that as the watermark for your image. Using the program linked earlier in this post you specify the image, the watermark and you're good to go. It'll do some conversion too.

Any problems PM me as I might miss the replies in this thread. Ohh, and if anyone has feature requests just let me know.

Lightroom - there are a couple of ways.

One is
File
Export
there are various options including adding copyright watermark.

I have also used the Web gallery option as when you do this you can add the watermark and you get three sizes of images (in different files) so you can choose the one that suits your requirements - say a large one for the front page and the others for your gallery.

Hope this helps

Christine

Thanks Christine.

I have worked out how it is done, yet it only gives me a miniscule watermark in the bottom left hand corner, I cannot see any way of altering this, though I assume there is?

Thanks for your patience.

You have to buy that...^

pictureshark
freeware, works fine, easy to use stand alone watermarker.
you still need to manufacture your own watermark to use in it though.
