Watermarking for flickr

It's not too bad, but you do have the full size image on there which took me about 30 seconds to download and remove your watermark.
I'd suggest only putting up a small image (600-700 pixels on the longest side) this means while it can still be stolen it's much more limited with what can be done with it.
Nice shot by the way.

Thank you for your advice and feedback on the image.

I am having a real game creating an action to add the watermark image to the bottom left hand corner 10 pixels from the left and bottom edges and then resizing to 640 pixels on the longest edge.

I want to select the images to be resized and watermarked, have them edited according to the above description and then automatically saved (with wm added to the original filename) and closed (regardless of whether they are landscape or portrait).

The only time I want to get involved is when I want to use a dark watermark instead of a light one.

Go to Russell Browns page http://www.russellbrown.com/tips_tech.html and somewhere near-ish the bottom (I think it's the CS2 tips) is a link to digital watermark branding, this will help a lot.

Hello there, I am looking to sell prints of photos I publish on flickr and wondered what you guys thought of my methods of claiming my rights over the photo?

Analysis Photographers, illustrators and authors will be amongst those to lose their digital rights under radical new proposals published by the Government today. New legislation is proposed that would effectively introduce a compulsory purchase order, but without compensation, across an unlimited range of creative works, for commercial use.

Millions of amateurs who today post their images to Flickr and automatically receive the full protection of the law, would also lose, unless they opted-out.
