I'm really unsure which section this is meant to be in, if in the wrong section could admin please move it.

Thanks :).

I'm looking at watermarking my images in a different way.

I currently have this:

39.jpg

1.jpg

I'm looking at something similar to this, with the text colour changing to one similar to the subject, like so:

#1
NEW1.jpg

NEW2.jpg

EDIT:

or these:

#3
NEW3.jpg

#4
NEW4.jpg

NEW5.jpg

NEW6.jpg

NEW7.jpg

Do you think this looks less professional? I really want something professional looking that is in the photograph, so it can't just be cut out like my current one. C & C welcome as usual.

Thanks,

Thomas.

I would say they are more of a logo than a watermark. I doubt if they will deter even the amature pic nicker as they can easily be cropped out.

Thanks for the replies.

Yeah that's true admirable. I suppose with the new logo over the picture, it means the person would be loosing part of the photo instead of the current way, which the loose none of it.

i quite like the new logo!
But if you are looking for something to stop your images being stolen or whatever, perhaps you could move it or make it slightly bigger, but make it transparent?
I do like the one you have now though!

Not alot of people like my logo as it detracts from the image, but isn't that the point.

Here's mine,

I like the edits that you've done, think they look pretty professional looking.

Thanks, I suppose it's just to show that the image is my work. For example if I give a CD to a client with medium resolution, I want the images to contain something that is not really simple to crop out. I feel that the new one, even though it can still be cropped out, won't be as much as the person would be cropping out part of the photo.

I also created this one:

Thanks for the reply mate. I actually quite like your logo!

For a watermark I would do a drop shadow and bevel and emboss then remove the colour of the text this you can read but with out hiding much of the photo here is one with just my name on as an example

Thats quite a good idea too! I think I'll give that a go tonight :).

Thanks for the idea.

Thomas.
