Water Droplets Photos'

What is the best and easiest way to take Water Droplets Photos?

What settings should we have the cam set at such as Aperture and shutter speed and ISO..

Also should i use the Canon 50mm Lens or my 105 Macro Lens?

I have had a go but all are crap or can never get the water sharp enough

Hmmm just had a go at a few hmmm damn hard to get the drop in right place aint it

Yup, it may take a short while to get it right but you'll get better. Just make sure it's in manual focus, pre-focus on the area you want to drop it in by putting something there, then aim for that spot and the rest is all timing and luck

Oh and large DOF is needed because macro levels of DOF are very small!

I been using F11 is that large enough or should I go larger?

I haven't done this before but images and results are very impressive. Would it be an idea to do them with something like baby oil which would have a better viscosity? has anyone tried this and are the results better/worse?

F11 sounds ok, but the higher the f number, the more chance that it will be in focus. Of course you will need to compensate with more light.

Not too sure about baby oil, i have a feeling that the results won't be quite so impressive though as its thicker than water. Definately worth a try though!
