On rental? Mine is saying its not due out til the 19th March?

Really? No wonder the cover looked like it had been coloured in with felt tips. I'll be having words with that lot at the video shop.

I watched Requiem for a dream the other night. Not sure how I missed this one as its nearly 10 years old but, what a cracking film.

The Wrestler was superb and linked me to Requiem. Wasn't impressed by Black Swan as others seem to be.

Tin Tin was great fun to watch with my boy.

Limitless was entertaining enough.

Kung Fu Panda 2. Fell asleep.

Cars 2. Fell asleep.

Monsters Inc. for the 100th time. Never get tired of that one.:)

Raiders of the Lost Ark. Educating the boy on how films where made before CGI. He loved it. Mind you he didn't like Star Wars much which was a surprise.

Skyline. How this film got from screenplay to cinema baffles me. What a load of ol' crap.

Films I'm looking forward to see now are Hugo, The Dark Night Rises, Ridley Scotts- Prometheus, The Artist because of its success, The Iron Lady, well this list could go on and on as I think this year is shapping up to be one best.

Also watched Bad Taste again just to remind myself of the potential Peter Jackson had before he sold out.:gag:

Bad Taste, Meet The Feebles and Braindead.....awesome. Then he had to go and ruin his career by doing Lord of the Rings. Pffft.

If you like Jason Statham then watch The Bank Job (2008) & Blitz (2011) both are very good films..

just watched Jack & Jill as im also a fan of Adam Sandler but to be honest its one of the worst ive seen in a long time..

Yeah totally agree. Ruined his status as a one-of-a-kind filmmaker. Trumped in with the cash idea. It was only a matter of time before these unfilmable books had the tech to green light them and he took it. I can think of a dozen directors that would have equalled/bettered these labourious films. Hell, I'd even say, Micheal Bay could of made a huge box office success out of them. I was hoping he grabbed the horror/suspense area by the balls and showe many the way to do it but alas...And of course he suckered himself into the next project, King 'F******' Kong. And lets not forget the melodramatic tosh of Lazy Bones, Lovely bones or whatever its called. So totally agree with you. Roll on the Hobbit. :gag:

As of recently I watched Tinker Tailor. Beautiful direction and photography with an amazing who's who of brithish acting. Plot wise, although I got the gist, I'll need to rewatch it i think to appreciate it's structure.

Unthinkable. Good entertaining film, but lacked that-that-that....impact it so threatened to give.

Next film on my list is 'Let the right one in' from the director of Tinker Tailor...The reviews are amazing. I only hope.....:)

The Grey was an absolutly awesome film. Liam neeson at his finest as usual, a hell of a lot of sudden, unexpected shock moments in that film.

Machine gun Preacher
it has Gerard Butler in. not a bad film, it has a lot of "Yay jesus" in it, but its based on a true story of a hardcore drug dealing biker who finds god and goes to africa to help the children from the rebels who are trying to kidnap and turn them into child soldiers. He answers with a bible and an ak47, very wierd for a born again christian trying to preach love and god.

Its pretty good because at the end credits you get to see the real guy the film is based on and he gets asked the question. "You have been accused of being a mercenary instead of a preacher of god, how do you answer that." His reply...

"if a group of terrorists break into your home, and kidnap your children, to rape, murder or just turn them into soldiers. I can bring them home to you, but does it really matter how I do it so long as they come home alive?"

I prefer the original to be honest, some beautiful cinematography.

I've seen a few good ones recently....."Limitless" was very good and "Drive" was excellent!!

Yes I found limitless to be a surprisingly amazing film. If only that pill was real & I had a months supply... I would probably die.

roffle. I remember that one. The credits started rolling & I was like "isn't there 15 minutes of lost footage left to end this film?" Its a shame cos the trailer looked so good.

Roll on when Independence day 2 & 3 come out. and in case you are wondering, YES they are.

Another thumbs up for Drive. I have watched it twice in the last week.

ive got immortals to watch but im currently running through fringe from season 1..

Fringe is amazing!! Can't wait for the Blu Ray release of season 4!

+1 for drive. An awesome film with an even better sound track!

Underworld:Awakening...well worth a watch too. Kate Beckinsale is back in it, in that black catsuit....grrrrrr

I watched Drive last night and to be honest didn't really enjoy it much.
I think it has been a bit over hyped which is a major problem with movies nowadays and therefore for me it just didn't live up to expectations.

I desperately want to see that new Woman in Black film..

I saw it a few weeks ago in 3D. I thought it was very good and the 3D worked well and enhanced the special effects rather than being overdone.

Watched woman in black wasnt that impressed drive falls into the same catagory

tin tin was great with the kids

The help really enjoyed this ...some great laughs
