Normally we see lots of wasps around August and September but the last week there has been loads in and around our garden. Anyone else experiencing this?
TrueQueen wasps looking to start nests ?
Always see a lot of wasps but then they are one of my favourite critters.
It is possible that the lockdown has altered their food availability and so they are ranging further afield to forage.
There appears to be a tree wasp nest near me. I am getting a lot on our gooseberry bush they love it. I saw one collecting wood today. A great photo opportunity for me.
Are they visiting flowers or are they on a flight path to and from a location?

Probably not a nest very close to you then just a food source.Don’t seem to be on any particular flight path just general movement.
Maybe but just seems to be several flying about on a daily basis[emoji848]

Think only one is classed as a wasp and my previous post might be a hornet?
