Not really sure how to search this on the net so I thought I'd ask here as I've seen a few odd "legal" questions being pointed in the right direction.
Out of the front of my house is a path and then a wire fence with an allotment at the other side.
This morning I left the house and noticed a few wasps coming from some carpet placed up against the fence that the allotment tenant uses in the winter. As I watched it more, I realised there was a nest in there.
As it is less than 2 yards away from my front door, I envisage them becoming a problem as the season draws to a close (drunk and angry wasps) and could put off possible buyers (we're selling the house) and would like it to be removed.
But what I want to know is whose responsibility is it to have it removed, the allotment tenant, the allotment manager, or me? And where do I stand on the whole issue?
I cannot wholly access the nest through the fence so I would not be able to just deal with it.
Please help guys!
