A member on AVForums suggested that I take a look on here for a more focused forum on all things photography.

I'm very pleased with what I have seen so far, and am looking forward to getting access to the classifieds!

Cheers guys - looking forward to getting involved and picking up some tips!
I have my first 'paid' job coming up in July so am wanting to get as much additional info in my brain as I can before then...
 
It's a photoshoot for a Prom night - couples arriving, groups etc. against a themed backddrop. Was asked to take the role as a 'favour' since the usual photographer didn't want to do it! I've been searching for info about the best way to run the evening. I knew it was likely to be quite difficult - I'm trying to figure out how to deal with the on-the-night production and sales!

I've been enjoying reading all of the advice people have on here and also looking through the stunning pohotos that are being posted. Certainly glad I had this recommended! :D
 
Nice gig! id get a load of dirt cheap memory sticks and give people their pics on a stick. you could have them printed with a logo commemorating the night as well. Saves the hassle of printing.
