I was in a gallery yesterday and seen a print that blew me away
it was printed on aluminium(i think) and no one in the gallery could confirm this or maybe they didnt want to for some reason.
the image was of a night scene of a city....the street lights and car lights in the image almost looked real (eg if you turned the lights off in the gallery you would have thought the lights would still light up from the cars etc) also upon closer inspection it looked like the ink throughout the whole image was highly metallic and had been applied with a brush as you could see what looked like very fine brush strokes through it.all the gallery could tell me was that the photographer got it PRINTED somewhere in England.

I have never seen an aluminium print before so could this have been one or something else

thanks in advance

I have one printed on aluminium. It's wrapped round a wooden former frame and looks excellent. There are a few companies who now print on an aluminium type foil too, but not in the same league.

thats great thanks very much. i noticed it says on their site that your image is printed on to brushed aluminium so that may explain how i noticed fine brush strokes through the image
