Was Ferris Bueller Right ?

I really wish I had some "setup" overview pictures from some of my still life stuff, it made that setup seem positively tame

(one in particlar had 2 studio heads in softboxes, a Gobo (faux windowframe), 2 mahoosive Black Panels to soak up overspill light and something like 5 silver foil reflectors scattered around. It was a tabletop, but frankly took over the entire spare bedroom

Ferris did have one very good piece of advice for photographers.

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you might miss it.

I admit to the lighting set up being a bit crude but I had to get 1800W fairly close to be able to shoot the 10x8 at F32. It was more the extreme silliness required to shoot at three times life size or there about it is bad enough trying to do 1:1.

In the end I made my life easier by borrowing a nearby workshop where I at least had room to move the kit about and very neary got the shot I was looking for and happily the person it was intended for likes it.

An interesting line somewhat along these lines offered by someone on LF info in regards to sunsets was "look behind you"
