unless you can prove you reported the fault prior to the warranty running out I suspect not 'sorry'

Has any liquid or moisture caused the keys to act this way?

Well firstly try adding a few full stops and commas into your paragraph so it is easier to have any resemblance of a clue as to what you're talking about.

Secondly you have 2 years. Make a fuss, they'll fix it.

Seriously, I didn't understand any of that. What was up with it?

It has be of "satisfactory quality" pursuant to the Sale of Goods Act 1979.

The statutory warranty may only run for 12 months but that isn't to say that you couldn't bring a claim after that alleging that it failed to meet the satisfactory quality test.

Most retailers are ignorant about this and just assume that you have no rights after the 12 month warranty expires, or (more cynically) just feign ignorance in the hope that you give up and go away.

Don't expect to get anywhere without a fight though......

No he doesn't. I assume you're referring to the EU Directive, which is exactly just that...a directive. It was *supposed* to have been implemented into UK Law (ie our Sale of Goods Act), but as of yet hasn't been done so.

EU told us to make it law, we haven't yet ;)

However,

Make a fuss, they'll fix it.
I agree ;)
