Hey,

I just bought a new Nikon D5000. It came with two warranty cards (one for the camera and one for the lens I assume) which I have filled out, but is that all I need to do? e.g. I don't need to send them anywhere, I just hold on to them to use in case something goes wrong?

IF you want to register for the 2 year Nikon warranty you need to ring Nikon or register online.

As above really. I Purchased my D5000 then registered online (you have 30 days to do this). About 3 weeks later I got an official letter from Nikon confirming extend warranty etc.
