***WARNING*** Paypal spoof e-mail

Got an e-mail from Paypal today.
Only it wasn't from Paypal, and they have confirmed it's a phishing e-mail.

Quite a genuine looking e-mail, so be careful.
Forward any dodgy looking mail to:

spoof@paypal.com

Don't wanna see any of you guys get conned.

Any email that starts "Dear Paypal member" isn't from Paypal..simple really

I get at least one of these a week, they send them to any email regardless of it being registered for an account. I suppose some people must follow the link or they would not keep on sending them.

Paypal will always address you by name if they email you.

Yep, like dear pillock, you have reached the limit of you're credit card, please send us you're bank details and set up a direct debit.so as to rob you blind....

paypal e-mails also never have links.

mind you all paypal correspondence is from someone trying to rip you off even if it is a genuine paypal message
