Account has been hacked.

Ebay are in the process of removing all relevant listings.

Thankfully all the listings above have been deleted now. I know first hand how annoying it is to have an ebay account hacked. Someone listed loads of golf clubs to my account one time and I only realised when I got a message from someone about postage costs for the clubs. Paypal had to make 3 refunds and ebay eventually sorted it and removed the items. My ebay and Paypal accounts were put on hold for the best part of a month while it was sorted and then I had to change all my passwords again which was annoying.

the news thats theres a fraudulent sale on ebay is about as suprising as a politician caught telling lies,or a footballer shagging his team mates wife.

It would be a cold day in hell before i bought a high value item on ebay for anything other than cash on collection

And that fella is why you pay by paypal, provided you play by the rules its pretty foolproof.

until it turns out to be a hacked account , at which point bend over because you are about to get shafted

And if you've paid by Paypal they will refund you, like I say if you play by the rules then its pretty foolproof for a buyer.

reseller. Buy cheap and sell for a big mark up. I'd avoid every single one of those on the bay

That's not it. I checked the links again and they corrected ALL the "fraudulent" items. :) They had SEVERAL Canon lens around the €10K mark. Lens like a 24-70 2.8 or a 85 1.2.

I've been seeing them doing this for 1 or 2 years, but now I guess they were "busted". :D

It's not really fraudulent to ask a ridiculous amount for a lens.

They may well have the lens offered for sale elsewhere and have an interested party.

Personally I have advertised on Ebay and Gumtree at the same time and if someone contacts me to arrange purchase through Gumtree I would raise my ebay price to a ridiculous amount rather than remove the listing. That way I don't have to pay to relist if the Gumtree sale falls through, I would simply reduce the Ebay price again.
