Warning Graphic Picture of Matador being Gored

That must kinda hurt... A bloody lot.

Great picture though. Not sure it quite caught the moment though... :p

Brilliant picture.

I would love to go and see a traditional bullfight. I am glad there are still places on this earth that don't subscribe to the namby-pamby, politically correct, sterilised way of life that has evolved in our so called free country, where nobody can do a thing without fear of upsetting some minority or other. Let them be upset I say.
other things I would like to go and see:
cock fighting in Indonesia.
Bush khazi in Afghanistan (won't be doing that for a bit)
The Pamplona bull run.
A whale hunt and puffin catching in the Faroes (my father was stationed there in the war - North Atlantic convoys.)
The sardine run off the Horn of Africa
Loads to see and do provided they don't get hymongenised with the rest of life.

Great picture, serves him right, hope the bull was o.k.!!!! Yep, dead against it:thumbsdown: :(

Good. I'm glad he got gored. Serves him right. So sad these magnificent animals are used for sport.:(

If they weren't then they wouldn't be bred, just like any of the meat you've ever eaten.

Don't get me wrong, I don't like the idea of bull fighting but I do see a huge amount of poetic justice in seeing a matador getting gorged :D Of course, the bull will get the gun anyway...

Unfortunately I read elsewhere that the bull was immediately killed by another matador.

I don't understand this sport, it's really not my thing.

Matador 0 : Bull 1

(and about bloody time too)

He was lucky to come out of that alive, had the bull turned it's head while that happened it would have snapped his neck.

He knew the risks before stepping into the ring so can't feel pity for him but I also can't relish in his plight.

And Bullies special prize...................

I like to see the Bull win!

Good on the bull. Brilliant.:clap::clap::clap:

Wonderful news.

Why don't you go over to Wales and help with the culling of badgers. I'm sure you'd love it.....

that bull meant it, cracking picture :)

"thats gonna hurt in the morning son"

serves him right should be baned

Thanks for posting that Admirable. I like the slow motion replay.

I was at the bullfighting in Madrid last year at Las Ventas. The stadium is beautiful, but the 'sport' is barbaric, I wouldn't watch it again.

Showing it from different angles too!
I must say though he deserve what he gets
I just wish I woulda got the picture

It's good to see the bull get it's own back for once.

If they had any decency they would have let it live as it had won - but they don't have any do they?

Oi! You calling us Welshies barbaric? :p There's a bit of a difference between watching using an animal for entertainment purposes like bull-fighting and culling animals in a controlled fashion to prevent disease don't you think? After all rats get culled every day for spreading disease don't they?

Not to say that I don't disagree with you being against bull-fighting...that is barbaric!

I think I read an alligator trainer lost his arm when the gator managed to grab it. He was showing off to the crowd.

Isn't that what they call 'fail' :D

Maybe I'm wrong? But the photo looks like a screen grab from the video? or the photographer was sat on the videographers lap

maybe but the depth of field looks too shallow and there would have been a lot of photographers there, apparently the fella getting gored is quite a big name in the world of bull fighting...or in his case un-usual horn digesting

Hi

:) Sorry, no offence meant to the Welsh. I just can't understand how anyone could enjoy watching animals suffer. I know the badger culling is being done in controlled circumstances etc.

How heinous is this: (Warning graphic shots and text).

BULL 1  : MATADOR 0 :gag: :cuckoo:

I wonder which one had the bigger penis that day?

Some days you get the Bull, some days the Bull gets you...I don't see what all the fuss is about TBH - apart from the fact that it was captured rather nicely.
