Warning about FastStone

If anyone who is using FastStone embeds IPTC and XMP data into their photos.Be aware that if you process those photos via FastStone it removes the XMP data (your contact details).You need to re-embed after any processing.:gag:

Make sure you have this checkbox enabled when converting

Thanks I have found that BUT as I said FastStone strips out the CONTACT info in the IPTC. Only the contact for some reason.You try it.Embed the info in the IPTC then edit in FastStone.Then open the edited image in Photoshop go to "file info" and click through the different fields and when you come to contact you will see it has removed your address ect. I have done a search and it is designed that way.Really dangerous as some publishers will not pay if contact details are not embedded.:bang:
