Warehouse Express

I don't think they price match as a matter of policy. But I always ring them anyway to make absolutely sure it's in stock, and I usually order on the phone too. Once you have someone on the other end of the phone you can talk turkey. Sometimes they've price-matched sometimes not - depends on the item I suppose and who you get.

Best avoided altogether, most especially if you have any sort of a problem with your order or a fault with a product. You have been warned!

was there today, and no, they had no interest in price matching. shame really, was only looking at 5% of the value to price match

Jessops price-matched a Nikon lens against Warehouse Express for me, that was about 3 years ago so the policy may have changed since. Might be worth a visit though.

Sorry you have had a poor experience with them.

Never had anything but first class service, including items lost by the courier, replacing a faulty item, and me getting the order wrong and them putting it right.

I second this. I was always happy with their next day delivery service. It is really next day, not next week like with some others.

I'll third that

Ordered a filter from them last week, delivered next day, recorded - so a thumbs up from me

Likewise....

Had a delay on my first D700, but I should have checked the stock and they should not have advertised it as being in stock. Both partly to blame and the only downside I have ever had.

I think Park Cameras may price match they are a reputable company

I've used WE for 2 lens orders recently and the service was very efficient, but not used them for price matching. If they were a lot more expensive than another online supplier for a particular item I'd just use the other supplier rather than faff about trying to negotiate a "price match" deal.

They refused to price match but after a few days they were the cheapest place I was willing to buy from.

I often buy from Jessops as they price match with Warehouse Express, I just take a screen print of the item into the store with me. If I dont need it urgently or Jessops dont have it in stock then I have it delivered, whatever suits me really.

I had a real problem recently, I needed a lens urgently for a shoot, admittedly I ordered at the last minute but they promised next day delivery by 9 am......they didnt send it, an administrative cockup!! So I had to drive to Norwich to collect it BUT why I`m not that annoyed is their service. They admitted fault, went out of their way at 8am to rectify it and reimbursed me my travel costs, not an ideal situation but one they were clearly not happy about. Unlike so many other companies, they seem to care about their customers and reputation and tried to make amends....I could go into the long and weary tale of our brand new Mitsubishi, which was described as a "friday car" by their service manager after the gearbox packed up after 4500 miles, which obviously made me feel that we had spent £££s well!!
These things happen, annoying but they do. If the company can admit their failings and try to retain you as a customer, I`m more than happy to give them a second chance.

It took them more than a month to refund my money after I returned a point and shoot camera a few years ago. And I had to call them about 2-3 times a week to ask what was happening to my refund.

I prefer amazon, calumet, morris photo.

Maybe I was lucky then but I was made to feel as though nothing was too much trouble, if it meant sorting out my problem. Maybe my lack of aggression or annoyance when trying to find out what had happened to my lens helped? Maybe I was lucky that I got the only guy in the company that really cared! I don't know which, maybe a combination of all three but it was resolved to my satisfaction and ultimately that's all that matters to me.
What would satisfy someone else and how they go about dealing with it would be different in some aspects but I think if the effort is made, then a second chance has been earned.

I had problem with a LaCie 724 LCD. They refunded in full on the spot. I use them regularly together with Calumet and I can't fault them.
