Warehouse Express - Anyone used them before?

I did, but, I would like to check if it has been sent out yet. It's very important it comes tomorrow because I can't take delivery on friday and all of next week (I think we leave early friday morning and come back late the following friday) which means it would probably end up getting sent back to Warehouse Express by the time I get back.

Might give them a call tonight :) Is that a premium rate number though?

Also, does this mean there's no way to check order details on their website? :(

No, it's a standard rate number.

01603 is the area code for norwich - std charges apply......

i think you'll find they wait until phone lines shut 8pm ish and then postman pat comes along in his big red van and picks up all that days orders - that way anyone ordering at 7.55pm still can get next day.

So, i would guess at processed and sitting on the loading bay ready for Pat (and Jess)

Not being funny, but must have been toying with the idea of this lens for a while - so why not order a couple of days earlier then would definately have it for hols?

Excellent. I might give them a ring just to reinforce this, but thanks :)

And yeah, I've been toying with the idea of this lens for a while but last sunday I bought a 28mm prime and then decided not to buy anymore lenses, but I'd really love a telephoto while in spain so I then decided just to go for it and hope for the best. I also couldn't decide between the 18-200 and the 70-300, mainly because I wanted to be able to zoom right out to the wide angle as well as going to telephoto, but heard there was some distortion to deal with because it zooms over such a wide range and I'm also losing 100mm of focal length. I since found out the difference between 200mm and 300mm is negligable and the distortion isn't that bad at all and today read a review of a 55-200 and he said that 200mm was more than enough zoom for most uses and his only critisism was that many many times he wanted to zoom out further than 55 so I thought, 18-200 it is then :) And I know I'm an idiot for leaving it so late :bonk:

ok - fair enough.....

I'll put money on WE sending it out tonight, however you are in the hands of the Royal Mail!!! - however seems only in Essex, so they should be able to get it 70 miles in 12 hours!!!!

I got an email about 10 minutes ago telling me that it has been sent out and has also given me a Parcelforce tracking number :) At the moment the tracking number doesn't work but ah well. I'll check it again later on! And yeah, Naaaarwich isn't far away :)
