Wanting a second lens for my D5000 but am confused!

Might have to get some of those, they look good for a cheap way of doing macro shots.
 
was quite hard to get used to the x10 one initially but now use it the most.. you have to get quite close to auto focus using it.. can also stack them to give even great magnification..
 
Im sure it wont be long before Im asking how to get the best from them
 
Cant believe that, ive just ordered them then after paying it came up with other things i may be interested in and the same one appeared for £1 cheaper which didnt really bother me but it was through the same guy im getting my 55-200mm lens off and 2-3 days del instead of 3-4 days. Im going to Egypt on Friday so that could make all the difference.

Just had a go with mine and hmmm, i cant get the camera to focus atall with the 10x one auto or manually and when stack it with the 4x its just a blur! This is with the 18-55 kit lens. The 1, 2 & 4 work but i cant see much of a difference from without any on......:thinking: What am i doing wrong here?

you have to get really close up with the x10, I had the same probelm to start with, nearly binned them :)

I dont stack them as mainly use the x4 and x10

I have to say i considered it :lol: Am i missing something but isnt the point of this type of thing so you dont have to get really close? :thinking:

I did say up ^ there somewhere that you do have to get up close with the x10.. ;) I hated them at first but use them quite often now.. still going to get a proper macro lens, once I decide on which one.. far too much choice out there

Right Michelle, i had another go last night and see where i was going wrong. I was too far away with the lens. The pics arent of anything interesting but i know how they work now. Thanks.:)
