That would be willing to let me attend a flying session before making my mind up whether to purchase a new one. I am thinking of a DJI Phantom 2 to be used with a go pro 3. I would like to see one in action in the flesh without being in a situation where I would feel pressured to buy, if you know what l mean. I am in Radcliffe North Manchester area. Thank you.

Can you not ask for a test flight in the shop? Unless of course you are buying online.
For what its worth, I had a Phantom 2 with Zenmuse gimbal and a GoPro 3+ black.
It really is easy to fly and control, incredibly stable and the video you produce can be top quality.
The best thing about it is if you get in trouble flying, just take your thumbs off the sticks and it will stop where it is and wait for the next command. Its so stable, I could fly it through the house with only a few minutes practice.

Thanks for that. I am planning on buying the set up in Australia next month, it's a gift for a relative over there. I have visited a few R/C flying clubs around my area but nobody flies Phantom's. I didn't think it would be this hard to actually see one flying. I could ask at a shop and pretend I was interested in buying one, but it's not really the done thing and I would'nt feel comfortable doing that.

Ref the Go Pro, the Hero 4 is out now I think (or just about to be out).

Why do you need to see one flying if its not actually for yourself?
