I am trying to arrange to go out to Australia this weekend to see my parents. Depending on flight times I may need to stay overnight at Heathrow. Does anyone know about cheap hotels and cheap parking near Heathrow?. I would probably be away 23 days.

I think cheap will be a relative term around Heathrow, the travelodge around abouts is around £50 a night though.

For parking, book and pay in advance you'll save alot that way
 
Jurys Inn have some decent prices at the last minute sometimes and I'd rather stay in there than a lot of the other hotels around Heathrow. Can't help with parking though I'm afraid.
 
You can leave the car here if you like I am only 45 mins from Heathrow, I can drive you there in your car then bring it back again and park it up:shrug:
 
I'm sure their are hotels around there, that if you stay the night they let you use the hotel car park till you get back free of charge, i'm fairly sure my brother did this last year, i will ask him which hotel it was and get back to you :)
 
They are all sodding expensive round there!!
 
Have you heared of Yotel?

It's a hotel inside Gatwick and Heathrow airport!! It's pretty small, like a cabin but has everything you'll need and does look very cosy! Not sure how much it costs but it's worth a look! Here's a link to the website - Yotel

Thanks for all the replies. That Yotel looks a good idea. It would be relatively easy on me, as I am disabled and would feel happy to be actually at the airport and not worrying about can I manage the Hoppa buses.

Briony that is a lovely offer bless you. Unfortunately my car is a Motability one and its not insured for anyone else to drive.

I have found one hotel that lets you park your car for up to 21 nights but it looks very expensive.
