Want to watch flash video on your iphone?

don't get it myself. If Apple approved it why didn't they just pay for the R and d from the browser company and include it in safari instead?

reason - they get a percentage of the browser sales and so they are do to make a LOT of money from it. Makes business sense I suppose. Why give something for free you can make money from?

I think Apple will not give in with Adobe, so this saves face. It also gets rid of one of the biggest problems for a lot of potential ios users, saves money on R&Ding it themselves, plus making them a load more cash.

Plus the fact that supporting Flash officially goes against everything Jobs has said about Adobe and Flash recently.

yeah but this is kind of a get out clause for that - they don't support flash they convert it to something that they say works better.

But looks like they just made a ton on approving this app which has sold so many they've had to pull it till it calms down
