Want to try focus stacking. Software ideas please ...

Does anyone have any recommendations for focus stacking software please. Never done it before so a completely new thing for me, so I'm looking for something simple to use and not too eye waveringly expensive if possible as it's only a try out thing for now. I'll mainly use it for macro work on things like flowers etc. Thanks all....

CombineZP by Alan Hadley.

It's free and does a good job.

If you want to pay, then Zerene or Helicon are the best two.

Or if you have CS4/5/6, you can use the Image Blending option for stacking too.

File - Scripts - Load files into stack. Once the images are aligned, highlight all the layers, then Edit - Auto Blend Layers.
