Hi there!
I am new to this forum.
I am new to Digi SLR's and I am planning to buy a SLR.
My budget is 300-400 pounds..Could you suggest some models..
I don't know anything in SLR but I am very eager to learn.
Could you tell some books regarding that as well

Books wise I can recommend understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson.

Provides a lot essential information in an understandable format.

As for camera's I'd would get yourself to a local photography shop and have a play with all the camera's in your budget so see how they feel when in use and how you get on with the menu's etc.
