Hello,

I read on here recently(cant find it again though) a post regarding different effect backgrounds, like wallpaper or wooden planks and wondered if anyone could suggest any retailers of them.

Thanks

if your still after these drop me a pm and we can produce them for you inhouse on vinyl up to 5 meters wide any pattern you choose.

Hmmmm, I'd likely be interested.
Can you PM me your website details please

i would be looking at 2.72 metre wide, what sort of price for prints?

single sheet up to 5meters wide although we can RF weld multiple panels together to suit.
for studio use probably best printed onto heavy weight vinyl 550gsm and above. once printed fully washable.

personally i have mine finished with a welded keder seam at top that i slide into a wall mounted moulding for easy fitting/removal.

any pattern you like just supply the artwork

need to know how many SQ/m you need as thats how we price the bigger stuff

heres a small one we did last week phone snap so excuse the quality

30 sq/m printed with your own design 400x400dpi will be around £450 normal price is £20/m2 so for you guys i am happy to discount to £15 m/2

can do up to 2m width in 2880x2880dpi but that might be a bit extreme for a backdrop.

we currently supply several TV and film production companies with backdrops,

we did around 1000 m/2 for drwho and last job was for game of thrones but that was a nightmare i dont wanna repeat.

thats a helluva long backdrop you must have more studio room than even me lol
2.72 x 11m is actually an industry standard size for a photographic backdrop, bearing in mind they come forward onto the floor for that "infinity" look.
Having said that, a printed image wouldn't work well for an infinity approach, so not entirely sure donkeymusic would really require the full 11m length

And I still make use of 11m rolls of vinyl, and why most vinyl rolls are still sold at that size.
But I certainly doubt anyone would need 11m if printed, as most printed backdrops tend to be only required for the vertical drop, so 3m would likely do.

it would be easy enough to print the 3meter drop and leave the remainder virgin which would save you a good 30% on the cost.

Once I posted the length I then sat back and thought b****r, thats long, I was working off the measurements that I get for rolls of paper, and then got sidetracked so couldnt change the length.

I guess for a backdrop I would be looking at 2.72metres x 3metres

For child photographs like the ones linked to by Mike, you will only need 2x2m and maybe another for the floor...£120 me thinks for a wall drop and floor mat...

If you decide later to have a few designs done, then you can interchange them to create a different setup.

sounds a bit more reasonable and of course much cheaper, printed with your own design its £125 which is far more

design is up to you all we need is the file, we have done some nice perspective backdrops to give depth or really up to your imagination.

we can do the vinyl either white on the reverse or black its up to you or even a different design on the rear but that would add a little to the cost.

as i said we RF weld a keder strip to the top to hang from or we can supply a keder tube and roller arrangement if required.

2.75x3 printed different designs both supplied by yourself would be £125 single print and £150 printed both sides, keder finish to top edge.

we generally print with a satin finish to reduce reflected bounceback.

finishing, as i said we normally keder weld to top edge but we can do anything you like, from eyelets to welded velcro strip (we sometimes finish velcro to the floor section to stop anyone tripping over an edge, just let me know what you need.
