Wallpaper across two screens

Not sure if this is in the right place.

I have two 17" screens at work side by side. If I want a wallpaper background, I select a picture then set as a background. The selected picture shows both on the left and the right hand monitors.

If I want just one picture stretched across two screens does anyone know how I would do this? Should the picture be a different dimension to the default?
