Walking boot identification help

I'm trying to find the brand of these walking boots. They're old so all the brand details have rubbed off apart from the base, a shield with L K
I've tried a Google image search for similar logos but no joy. Any fellow walkers recognise the brand?

I am not sure but I have a very old and vague memory of seeing such a moulded in branding on shoes that had been re-soled. In other words the logo was on the new soles.

Time frame wise I taking about anywhere about 30 to 50 years???

Ah ok. That could make sense. On closer examination it does look like a resole
