Can anyone suggest a solution for this? I use Firefox and cannot access Google, it just keeps throwing up 'Waiting for consent.google.com'. I've also tried an alternative search engine and it gives me 'Transferring data from duckduck.co.com'. Both seem to be stuck on these responses.

Operating system is W10 but I haven't run into any problems with it, so far...

Thanks in advance.

I've just checked no issues accessing Google here ( FF & W7)

When this briefly reared its head for me about 3-4 months ago it was a privacy-enhancing extension clashing with a GDPR notification that relied on consent.google.com to action it (that the extension blocked by default)

Not saying it is the cause, but it might be something like that.

Thanks Jason. I can get online through Chrome, but I've been using Firefox for years and prefer it. I assume the best solution is to disable the extensions and try to work through this by process of elimination?

Thanks gentlemen. Finally got Firefox working again, but I'm not absolutely sure how I managed this!

Terry, I never thought about cookies. I'll bear this in mind if I run into any more problems.

I had an issue with Firefox on ebay yesterday, I was logged in but when I tried to do anything it kept taking me to an "i am not a robot" capcha thing. Today it is fine. I suspect that one or another ad-blocker needed it's blacklist/whitelist updating and that has now happened so it's all working again.
