Hi All
I did search but maybe missed anything similar?
I have 1511 running but Win Updates is spasmodic with the last recorded check at 9:24pm on 12/12/16, I have noted three critical updates listed elsewhere that I have installed manually. However thought Wup checks the last checked date does not change from that noted!
I have in readiness my 1607 ISO file burned to DVD and have read some comments on other forum that a (forced) upgrade from 1511 to 1607 resolves the likes of stuck/unresponsive Wup in v 1511.
I would welcome your thoughts & insights about doing the this upgrade
FWIW on this page https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10 I see this offered at the top
Update now
We noticed you are running Windows 10. If you would like to update to the latest version, click Update now.

So the website appears to analyse that I am running an older W10 version.................but Wup does not?
