Volvo XC90

Unfortunately no, but got the next best thing V70 with 7 seats.The two rear facing,full leather, suit kids only, boot seats are a bit pants but the kids love them.

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering about in the XC90. My wife and I test drove one the other day, but we're really not sure the rear seats would work very well. Working on our 4th kid so we're needing some room. lol.

I think the rear seats would work well now, but in a few years, noone might be able to sit back there.
 
I have an XC90 - the 7 seat version.

Fine for kids or adults on shortish journeys.

We tried to get a child seat on one of the 3rd row seats a few weeks back - absolutely no chance!!!

I used to have one. Great car. Used all the seats regularly with our childrens friends on board.
We took them on long journeys without any probs. The other option is a Disco 3. A bit more space and better rear seats.

So the rear two seats on the 90 would be ok for kids 7-8 years old and for the next 5 or so years?

Would really like the Disco 3 (same thing as the LR3 I assume?), but just a bit out of our price range right now.

Well i know of someone who has problems with hers and says it is never out of the garage.....but as people say, you only hear of the bad stuff so lots of people might be fine.

I would not advise you to get a disco 3, they breakdown plus you will never get your money back when you come to sell it.

Mate of mine bought his 18 months ago and sold it this year losing £12k.
