Hi

I have been given this as a Christmas present - having looked at it on the internet to see if it would work with my camera have seen lots of mention of "frying" "voltages" ... it's all gobblydegook to me and frankly a quite scary.

I am a very basic user of a Nikon D40 (with no money to buy extra stuff/upgrade) - I don't understand what all these people are talking about - can I or can't I use it?

Having a quick look at this list it says "NO".

Be careful, there's some very high voltages in some flashes and in some cases damage your camera

Having a quick look at this list it says "NO".

The maximum voltage in that list is 202 volts. All Nikon DSLRs are rated at 250 volts so in this case, no means yes!
