Very subtle Ruth, nice pastel colours :)
 
Nice, I like the BG texture and the flower's soft colour ... but no more detail there in the heart of the flower?

Anyway it seems to hold a tragic story of the romantic kind ... I like. (y)

Thank you David, Perhaps a different angle might have revealed a little more detain in the heart of the flower, but I wanted to include the short stem.

Week 23 - Stone(s)

I had several ideas....none of them really panned out if I'm honest.

Does anyone else see a smiling smug [PLEASE DON'T TRY TO BYPASS THE SWEAR FILTER] face in the second from bottom? Or should I lay off the pernod?


It works OK Ruth, as Allan said nice muted processing :)

Stone works for me. I know what you mean about it not quite being the image it perhaps could be, but it's decent. It might just have been the light TBH - composition and processing all look good. A decent take.

Simple - something that crossed my mind but you've captured this really well. Lighting works really well on this one: brings out the bubbles and the soapiness of the bar itself with the shine. Really well done (y)

Stone - Certainly fits the theme and I think it works well enough as a picture. Sharp in the right places with the background blurred so not a distraction.

Simple - Good shot - the lather is a nice touch which adds another dimension to the shot.
 
I know what you mean about Stone. I've often posted a pic that I thought was ok but not really what I planned and therefore didn't give myself enough credit for a job well done. It's definitely stone, composition is good with the background blur and I like the processing (y)

Simple is fab and it's all been said above :clap::clap::clap:
