I am in the process of migrating from the older MacPro to
the brand new iMac i7 5K and something really strikes me.
Else than going through the inevitable "getting used to", I
realise that — when working in say Capture One — usual
visual memory and references are all shaken up!
In recent past, I went through post-processing duties with
confidence in my tools and self assurance in my skills but,
with the new machine, I have to relearn to slow down and
pay attention to what's going on on my screen and relate
the tweaks to the gestures I use to apply to get the wanted
proper results.

Not to worry, I don't feel I am losing the grip
but I will need some time to rebuilt a new set
of visual memory and references.
