Vista Print??

I've had business cards done by vistaprint and they're fine. Not used them for photo quality stuff, though.

Have a look at photobox - their poster calenders are really good

I use them a little bit. Just dont sign up for the premier program as they try and charge you £20 a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have some stuff on order and am just awaiting delivery.

ive been using them for about 2 years for business cards, postcards and address labels - i think they are good never had a problem with them :)

Ditto to the above - I used them for save the date cards for my wedding and they took about £15 a month out my account - but as soon as I complained they refunded it.

The cards were good quality and I was pleased with them

i used them business cards and they were very good quality, but their prices seem to have lots of hidden charges, and they like to complicate everything as much as possible.
They send more spam than a canadian online viagra shop too.

i had the calanders done lst year - really pleased
as already warned just don't sign upto the program where you get charged monthly - i.e tick a small box saying you want monthly updates as someone in my office did and it took months to cancel and sort out

I used vista print for a lot of different things, Cannot grumble. I have never had things taken out of my bank account [other than what should have come out for paying for the goods] but occasionally i get "special offers" through the inbox. These offers do work out well, and if youre not in desperate need for them click the 21-day box for delivery. Sometimes here within 10days!

Thanks for all the responses.

So all good but DO NOT tick monthly updates :)

Will look at photobox quickly as well.

Thanks again.

Wouldn't touch them after them scamming me out of money. Had to get my bank involved to get it back.

Done a few things with them and all came back fine, I guess I unticked that box automatically as I have had no problems.

Well after spending an age sorting photo's etc and making sure to untick the boxes, my credit card kept getting refused (no reason why it should) so went to photobox and guess what worked fine (as it should do) ok Photobox were bit more expensive but hey all ordered and hopefully in time Xmas presents.

Thats what happened to me, then I tried my debit card and it worked. From what I gathered off the next at the time, they turn down credit cards until you put a debit card number in as they can set an open debit from a debit card allowing them to take monthly fees whether or not you uncheck the buttons.

Took the banks intervention before they would even reply to my emails etc.

I used them for business cards when I was doing my card makin business and thought they were very good. Although for desk calendars, I've used Shutterfly that were recommended on here (and I'm so sorry to the person who recommended them but having a blonde moment and can't remember who it was - I'm very thankful though :D )

I would usually recomend photobox

BUT

I just had back 2 15x10 black and white prints.

I use a Huey on my monitor, and they look just as black and whites should, but the prints have come back and they are truly awful. Extremely dark and look oversaturated, I have tried the pics on 2 different monitors (using both standard srgb profiles, and a profile from a local printers - pretty sure photobx recomends standard srgb- will look in a minute) and they look pretty much the same on them as on mine.

I may have just got a bad day on the printer, btu I dont think I will use them again

I've used them over the last few years for business cards, magnetic calendars etc and never had a problem getting them to accept my credit card. Do you have proof that they "take monthly fees whether or not you uncheck the buttons"?

I've never had to untick anything either, all the "extras" are opt-in, or at least they were last week.

I will never use these again.

Got some business cards printed and they are a slightly unusual size, Spammed with email offers every other day .... Yes I can turn them off. Do not sign up for the monthly premium service.
As has been said above - huge hidden costs. I'll pay more in the future with someone else....

No proof, but another story of testing them for some business letterhead printing - not great - and then they tried to start charging me on a monthly basis for something I didn't want or need.
