Is it possible so if I have made a virtual copy of the master and created a black and white photo with this

Can I take a virtual copy of the black and white photo so I could do some different changes to it? It just seems to copy the master when I have tried

Yes, you can make as many virtual copies as you like. the good thing is that they are non destructive.

I'm not at my machine so cant test it, but if it won't let you make a copy of a copy, you can always copy the modifications from your first copy to your second copy, which should then make it match the first copy. Then you could edit from there.

You can as Tugster says create a virtual copy of a copy of a copy of a copy etc etc etc ......
