Hi all. Heard that virgin are having some major problems at the moment... As a result, I seem not to be able to access any .com sites what so ever. Even this site is slow, though chatting on IRC, no one else seems to be having any problems with this site or any other. Is anyone else on VM here having any issues getting onto certain sites? Cheers :)
 
My VM broadband was garbage yesterday and the VM tv was intermittantly pixelating. It seems ok today though.
Maybe it's a localised thing, i'm in north Notts.
 
My VM TV pixellates all the time (at least 10 times an hour), just thought it was normal.... (Dont know why though, my NTL service never used to do it..)

It can be caused by the box overheating though
 
no BB problems here. TV very rarely breaks up.

The free upgrade seems to be 8meg not 10 but apart from that...

Interesting. Our tv is spot on. never have any problems with that. It might well be localised...

According to Vm website... which I had to get onto via a VPN connection to the uni (as they are on the backbone and don't rely on ISPs as such..) There is a national level problem with the cable broadband service, yet they won't mention anything about it.

Since posting, only Gmail and Ebay work. every other .com site times out.
