Hi all,

Can I be recommended a reasonably sized and weighted macro lens please? I would prefer C/Y mount as I already have an adapter with tripod foot attachment (Contax CZ 80-200) for the A7. I guess buying a different adapter isn't the end of the world though..... Not shooting insects so 1:1 isn't a necessity. More very close up type of subjects. I'm thinking 80-110mm range. I think....

I'm about to sell a 100mm Samsung Macro - it's a rebadged Pentax. Works great as full manual. You put a wanted ad up? Tamron adaptall 90mm macros are also excellent and render beautifully for portrait work too.
 
The 55mm f2.8 Vivitar auto macro (Komine version) is VG
 
What is your budget?

The tamron adapall 90mm macro is a cult classic. Used to own one myself with the matched adapter and 2xTC.
Have the adapter for it in sales :ROFLMAO:

At the moment I am using laowa 100mm macro which gives 2x magnification (I know you said you didn't care much for higher magnification but it's good fun).
If you are interested I can sell it now since my macro season is done for the time being.
p.s. it's the canon EF version and I use it which a cheap commlite adapter which means I get full aperture control via. the dials and IBIS works without me dialling in the focal length.
