I've just seen a 'Wanted' ad on my local Freegle group for a traditional 35m SLR camera and as I also have connections with a group of keen sewing people it got me wondering. There is at the moment a huge revival in vintage sewing machines (with all their limitations in comparison to a modern all-singing, all-dancing machines). Is there anything similar going on in the photography world? Is there a group of enthusiasts out there still wanting to use their Pentax ME Supers and much, much older cameras and lenses to show what you can still do with them? There is certainly an appetite out there for proving that some things stand the test of time and shouldn't be thrown away. Also the word 'vintage' is being over used at present for anything 'old'. I know the world of just about everything has gone digital which changes how we produce the end product now.
I just wondered what take the Photography world had on this recent trend?
