Daily Vince31 - 366 Challenge (the End is Near)

love the Lily closeup   fantastic :)
Love the idea for todays as well

Awwwww sweet Valentines shot... love the concept Vince:thumbs:

Very interesting. I can't make my mind up about it. I'm suppose it must have been lit from behind, and I think it's a bit hot towards the top, but I like how the centre of the flower head has an inner light.

Thanks for your comments Tim , I had the same thoughts in a way, but there is something I Love about this shot :)

Not totally sold on the last too Vince, the ideas on very strong on both of them but the execution is letting them down, the yesterdays there is motion blur in there :( and todays the blown areas on the petals are spoiling it a bit for me

Matt thanks for your honest feedback bud as always:)

Have to agree a bit blown in parts - but good idea

Many thanks Sarah :)

vince... there is nothing wrong with trying something different... so this flower didn't quite hit the mark..but you've got ideas how to improve.. so try it again some time.....right!

Hi Vince, like others have said this is a little too blown out in parts for me, but love the idea behind the shot. Certainly one to revisit and have another crack later in the 365 :)

There is something about this shot that i rather love!... even with the blown bits i kinda quite like it:love::thumbs:

Many thanks Trace , pleased you like it :)

I have to agree with T, I think the 'blown bits' actually add to the shot. Good one!

Cheers Bob

I really like the concepts of both of your latest shots....the last, I quite like, blown bits and all! I agree with T in that regard! :)

Oh, really like that the processing is most excellent in this instance

That is an impressive building Vince, nicely shot and processed. Pity there wasnt more interesting skies though.

Just saw this on Flickr, lovely picture and processing, also really like the Daf, I really need to invest in some decent lighting and a flash!

Many thanks , pleased you like it !

Great shot and processing on that!

Cheers Paul :)

Arbury hall looks stunning... gorgeous place.. and todays... aww cute blackbird.. nice detail

Is he maybe slightly underexposed Vince? The dark areas look a wee bit too dark. It is nice that he seems fairly un-afraid of you though.

Loving the shot of the hall, very nice processing on it. Certainly worth another visit with an ND grad filter to bring out some detail in the sky. Nice shot of the blackbird too, but agree that it looks a tad under exposed.

Many thanks for all the comments and advice folks , much appreciated:thumbs:

the hall is great...great detail..great processing.. just needs that sky bringing out and it would be epic..!!

.. mr blackbird. well done, such a good capture. but i feel its the blue tint that i see..i'd like to see the black of the bird bringing out.. love the detail in the wings..

Like the shot of the hall and the processing you've used. Shame the sky was bland, but that happens. You could always crop a bit more off to get rid of some.
Blackbird could maybe do with less of a blue tone & a bit more sharpening, but a good capture none the less.

some great shots Vince :D Love the Hall - and the processing suits it perfectly :D
Mr Blackbird is lovely as well :)

Now I really like the last too  it would be nice to see a little more detail in the sky on the hall, now today's the blackbird, I think you need to have a little play with the white balance on it because he's looking a little more like a blue bird
