Daily Vince31 - 366 Challenge (the End is Near)

I sympathise with your bird fustration! Mine is volleyball! Always indoors, poorly lit areas and trying to get pin sharp images. You need to have at least 1/250 but also a wide aperture and even so the ISO is up around 3200/6400 - not to mention the bloody net which is always in the way!! Anyway, sometimes I get lucky so my advice is to keep at it - it's a challenge in itself!!

Oh and by the way, that stag is superb!

hi vince... like the serenity of the peace by the riverside...but is there a tad distortion on the spire... i know they can't all be straight up and some do lean... but wondering about how wide your lens was...

as for rememberance... that looks a small scale model?? either that or your tilt and shift technique works well..

Kev that spire does lean slightly and as done for years or my eyes have always been knackered:lol:

Rememberance is not a small model , it's a straight zoom shot with a crop

Vince...something is nagging me about crystals... Great idea... But the grass .. Its the grass that's a confusion of elements..I think because its in focus .... Have you thought to try a black card background and a high f number even use a flash ... Guess I'm think I'm my doom and gloom shot.. Daylight but I manufactured darkness..

Kev many thanks for the feedback , I may try that later in my challenge:thumbs:

It's good to talk ............I learn such a lot of you guys in the dark corner

Liking the recent work Vince, I particularly like the Stag, where was that shot at only 105mm also the church by the river is great, but I'm a sucker for a good church photo :D finally I think the ice crystal is great, what an idea

Matt

Glad you like Matt , The stag was shot at Forest Arden Golf Club

The church is Witherley church in Leicestershire.

Glad you like the Winter crystals also

Nice shot Vince, just a pity about the one directly behind its head - a bit distracting although the light on the antlers looks great.

i'll have to agree with the stag ..and the exposure. shame it was a great pose..

the farmer is a good angle, but i feel you could do with more contrast.. its looking a tad greyscale..

Well I started looking at your photos and kind of got carried away and 16 pages later I have come to the end and looking forward to the next 247 :) There are some fantastic shots in here Vince and you have actually made me think that I might just start my own 365 shots though one side of me keeps saying its going to be a long job and the other says but it will be worth it with all the learning you are going to be doing. So I can officially blame you for this lol. But you have inspired me to try and if I dont try I wont know if I can do it will I? Great work :)
