I've been looking at your berries vince...and I wonder if you should have cropped in closer so the stalk came from the top corner ...the rest seems to detract from the subject..

Its like my symmetry shot.. I thought it was great..then have noticed since the fold along the top of the shade..kind of ruins the shot for me..
 
Your frustration looks a right tit! Too vince ... I don't dabble myself probably for this very reason..
 
Of the recent photo it has to be said there are a few softness issues :( but I love berry drop :thumbs: it's bad but it's gone 6 and I've still not even considered what my photo will be today :bang:

Thanks.... all I can say is that 1/80 is way too slow even for birds that are static... unless you're using a tripod...
 
I was using a tripod and a remote !! quite a dark area :cuckoo:
My bird photography is done in woodland, handheld with a 400mm f 5.6, I never go above ISO 800, or below 1/100, my aperture is around f5,6....distance to bird is about 15 to 20 feet....if I go out of that range of settings I know my photos are going to come out pretty poor....
