Anyone here use Vimeo? I'm not sure if I've got something set up wrong, but I have to download any videos before I can watch them, as opposed to you Tube that streams them, and playback is instant.
Any ideas or is this the way Vimeo works :shrug:
 
I use vimeo its a great site and in my opinion now much better than youtube snce youtube started to go stupidly over the top strict on things. If you have a video of someone in a field without any background music, screens displaying any tv show or film and hes not wearing any designer clothes then your video is suitable for youtube, for everything else use vimeo.

And to answer you question you dont need to download anything first, it should stream just like any other video hosting site
