Hello,

I have a little question which may be really simple to answer or not..

I am a member of another forum similar to this one in terms of the layout. Its a fishing forum and I was wanting to view the exif data a poster has on a thread he has started.

The linky is here..

I am using the latest iMac and someone has suggested downloading 'safari extensions' but having looked at that I am not so sure I like the tool bar that that comes with. I hate a cluttered screen!

Thanks in advance :)

Open the image in Preview and hit Apple-I to Get Info. This will show the EXIF data in a More Info window

Hi Nick,

Daft question...again...but how do I open one of those pictures on that link I provided in preview?

When I right click on said image it gives me the option to save in iPhoto..from there I can see it in preview. That right?

Thanks

Sorry, I didn't read & understand your post completely. Using Apple-I works in Preview but the image needs to be on your machine

In Safari it's easiest to drag the image to your desktop, double-click it to open it in Preview and hit Apple-I. You can also right-click it and use Save As to save it to the Desktop

If you want Exif from a webpage you'll need a Safari plugin
