Viewfinder photographic wireless flash triggers

I brought one frome focus yesterday andI just cant get mine to work at all. Either I'm missing something obvious or its a faulty unit.

What are you trying to do?

What are you connecting to? (what are you trying to fire?)

Make sure you fit new batteries (the correct way around!)

Give all the connections a clean.

Finally, what settings are you trying to fire with?

I have put the sender on the hot shoe which already has a battery in which was supplied in the unit and I am trying to trigger my nissin 622mk2 the batteries I used for that certainly had power in them,

have you got a receiver on the flashgun?

(please supply as many details as possible as it will stop countless questions in multiple posts being asked)

The batteries supplied with these units are notoriously poor and possibly past their best.

Any chance of some photos of your set up?

Have you got the flash in manual ?

The only one I can find is for firing mains flash units (where the receiver takes mains power) what are you using as a receiver?

I rang them but a message said they were at focus and back tomorrow, but there was another number to ring, I was told there was a screw under a qc pass sticker which would release the top, what a stupid place to put the sticker :bonk: Changed battery, the test button fires the flash on the receiver, but when I fire the shutter it doesn't trigger the flash

I hate to keep saying this but have you changed the batteries in ALL the stuff.

Double check that the batteries are installed correctly and that the channels are set correct.

Any chance you could tell us what the trigger name is? And what camera you have (I did write earlier that you should supply us with as much info as possible - it helps us to help you)

I have just had a fiddle with the channels, I had to slide the switches down to activate the channel, which was not clear in the "instructions"

Thanks Tom, for the help

The simplest things eh

this is the one I have
