Seem to be importing a new range of studio equipment at really cheap prices, inc many that have adaptable speedrings that include mounts for Bowens Esprit, Elinchrom, Courtenay, Aurora, Broncolor Impact, Broncolor Puls, balcar, Hensel, multiblitz profilux, multiblitz varilux.

The Balcar mount will make Alien Bee buyers happy, I assume.

All their stuff up to now has been the Bowens mounting only.

I dont work for them, just letting you know. I have heard rumours that Viewfinder are not the most reliable of suppliers. Any confirm?

Quite fancy the 70cm beauty dish. Or the Umbrella type softboxes, akin to the Apollo.

the Umbrella type softboxes, akin to the Apollo.

The umbrella softboxes they sell are nothing like the Apollo, the flash still points forwards, whereas with the Apollo it points towards the rear of the softbox.

Their snoot sets make me think I need to at least triple my prices (and still undercut them by about a tenner )

This is similar to the Apollo, but the protrusion of the rod is not long enough. Might even be threaded. Im sure it can adapted. It appears to be made for studio guns with speedrings though, I admit.

Edit - nah, ignore me, you're probably right. The rest of the stuff looks interesting though.

:)

I have some big Elinchrom boxes, but they take an age to put up and de-construct. This might be just what I'm looking for.

With the Apollo the light/stand enters from the underside, not the rear, so the light can be positioned to face rearwards and bounce, whereas that version is just a straight shoot-through and near enough the same price as the Westcott product.

Yes, it is shoot-through - but can you imagine Alien Bee inside 24" Westcott ?
Viefinder option is attached to the head/monolight so at this size is usually shoot-through.
50" westcott is massive and I am finding it hard to point in the right direction.

Kris thanks for the hads-up, please let us know how your purchase will end up.
I heard only bad opinions about Viewfinderphotography... but I am tempted too ;-)

Some smart looking stuff there  Prices are good if not spectacular.

Design and quality looks high but there's not much info to go on

Were these the people that had a biggish stand at Focus? The mounts look similar.
