My Nikon View NX2 seems to have developed a bug.
The picture greys out (or at least loses most of its colour) when moving the sharpening slider and the resulting image cannot be reset.
Can't see that this has been covered before and I would appreciate your advice.
I have been using View NX2 a lot in the last two days without any problem before this suddenly started.
Edit : It turned out to be a glitch, after restarting it is all back to normal.
View NX2, GIMP, Photomatix Essentials and Photoshop CS2, which are all free, cover everything I want to do.
I didn't think much of the Capture NX-d which I trialled, no better than View NX2 but with NR.
Photoshop CS2 NR is great in my opinion.
When an image exported from GIMP back to its original folder becomes an 'unsupported file' in View NX2, process it as a single image through Photomatix Essentials and the file 'works' again.
