Is it possible (without using a 3rd party app such as skype) to make a videocall between an android powered nokin xeria z1 and an iphone 4s?

O2 tell me no due to incompatability between android and apple.

No. You'd need to use Skype. Which is fine as it's free.

I don't think Android has a Video Calling feature that isn't through an app like Skype?

Facetime was always designed to be an Apple to Apple service. Skype is your solution. It's no hardship downloading it.

Video calling
Android does not support native video calling, but some handsets have a customized version of the operating system that supports it, either via the UMTS network (like the Samsung Galaxy S) or over IP.
