Hello There!
I know this is mostly for photography but im hoping some of you out there will know a few tips on video too!
Basically i want to start filming youtube videos. Primarily beauty ones or in that genre anyway. I have the canon 600D with an 18-55mm lens and a 50mm lens too. I filmed a youtube video last week, it was quite dark and i lost alot of detail. I filmed in natural lighting too! I had to record in a lower quality format because i got the message 'video has automatically stopped recording' and i googled it and it came up with it being an issue with my memory card it was only a grade 4 memory card although it was 64GB. I switched to my mums memory card which was a grade ten but 16GB of space and that helped. I want to be able to film in high quality but i seem to be having issues with lighting its coming up very dark even in natural lighting i have asked for soft boxes for Christmas so im hoping that will make a difference.
What manual settings should i be setting my camera to? Shutter speed etc? Which lens do you think is best to film with out of the two that i have. It dosn't continuously focus either which is annoying!
This girl films with a canon 600D. Does anyone have any idea to what lens she uses to re create these videos and do you have any tips to help me acheive the effect she uses in her videos.
Thankyou in advance!
